The 7:30 AM start gives you the cooler end of the day, but by the time most runners are finishing (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM), temperatures can be 15 to 20 degrees warmer than they were at the gun.

On a humid day, even moderate temperatures feel significantly worse because your body can't cool itself efficiently through sweat evaporation.
